I have tried several times to connect my EWG harness but get a cel every time. Ive inspected the wires and they look perfect. I make sure the car is asleep each time but always get the error message pictured. Any ideas why this would happen?

Sounds like it may be installed incorrectly. Please take pictures of the installation and upload them for verification as well as a log so we can see your settings.
