  • G21 M340ix Touring LOG Review please

    Hello Everyone,

I need some advices for my car on which map to run.

Here are some logs from my G21 M340ixdrive 2019 (european version)

Car is stock except from JB4 (EWG connected), running the latest firmware. Fuel is pump gas RON98

After 2 weeks of testing the JB4 (MAP 1 and MAP 2), I feel additive maps jerky in spirited driving (map 2 mainly), so I tried to log some runs in MAP4 with absolute target.

I also put some map 3 run logged in the same conditions today.

(as logs were grouped in the file P58_M4_R7_230513_2108.csv, the 2 first pull are map 4 and then the 2 others are map 3)

Could you get back to me with you inputs ?

    Thanks a lot in advance

You have some timing corrections on map 3 and map 4 but not too bad. some cars do respond better to absolute maps rather than additive maps and visa versa. Sometimes it's finding what works best for your particular situation.

In this case, I'd probably run map 4 with some octane booster for spirited driving.

      Hello Steve,

Thanks a lot for your advice !

I will stick with map 4 for daily driving and try to find some octane booster or ethanol when I want to play a bit ...

      Regards
