      • This might be a dumb question, but with EWG connectors installed, would that mean that adjustments to the FF setting won't apply if bit5 is turned on?

Option 5 disables EWG on all maps regardless of their settings.

OK makes sense, that Canadian 94 is really hit and miss. Often logs more like 91 octane. You can leave it on map2.

Understood it disables EWG entirely, Terry - but I just want to clarify if this means if I, say, decrease my FF setting to 40 instead of 50 with bit5 on, it wouldn't do anything?

ID:	821888 Team BMS Terry @ BMS, I reconnected my EWG wires this past Saturday. I had them disconnected since last summer due to random CELs.

Well, it seems the gremlin is back. I popped a P2563 code when I started her up.

I've driven several times after plugging the wires back in, nothing odd occurred during driving.

Here are screen shots of the configuration.

                • If you get startup codes that clear and don't come back until you restart, you need an updated 2580. You can send yours in to be reflashed or just order one off our site for $50 if you want to reduce downtime.

JB4 Replacement and Upgrade Chips The replaceable 2580 master chip controls the communications between the JB4 and your BMS data cable or JB4 Smart Phone Wireless Connect Kit as well as the model specific firmware. If you are unable to connect to the JB4 try replacing this first as often it's the culprit. Specify which

                    Already did the chip swap.

I cleared the code. Will see if it pops again...or a different one.

                    • BMS Terry @ BMS , I have a question for anyone. I bought ewg wires and have not installed them yet but noticed the wires and white and blue, and not purple and blue. Is this correct if so what position do they go since their different colors?
