  • 2023 Kia K5 GT 2.5T - testing/results?

Been searching around looking for info regarding jb4 gains on a '23 or similar year K5 GT. I know in the Stinger, choosing higher maps requires new spark plugs and some other bolt ons. What is the case for the K5 GT? Any info on this particular vehicle would be greatly appreciated as I feel like I'm in the dark with how little info there is. Any dyno graphs out there?

Obviously you have been researching the wrong information.

Do not change any hardware on the car unless you understand why you are doing it.

All you need to do is: Buy the JB4, install as instructed, re-gap your stock spark plugs down to .022

Set the JB4 to Map 0 (pass-through) and log.

Then log Map 1-2; WOT 3rd gear or 4th gear all the way to fuel cut (red line). Submit log (not screen shots) here for evaluation

Do not submit half throttle or short burst logs they are useless.

You shouldn't have any "falling on its face" (throttle slamming shut). If you do it's user error not the JB4's fault.
