  • Stinger 3.3 Trims

What could be a reason for high trims? I have ran Mao 3 once with E30. Timing was pretty good, but under WOT trims were 50 plus. I checked my AFR and it was a little lean but not too bad. Probably about 12 to 12.2.

    Thanks

No problem, you are just starting to max out your fueling capabilities with E30 and that power level. As long as AFR's are good, the car's good!
Just make sure to keep an eye on your AFR's if you head into a cooler climate as the fuel demand will increase and you may go lean.

Throw up the log if you want us to check it out. Trims will be high during spool up and should drop down towards 25 (0%) during longer runs.

Here is a log from a while back, i know my FF and WGDC are a little off and have since added EWG wires to correct.

So, would a high trim number under WOT essentially mean my E30 mix may be a little lean on ethanol? I don't have the flex it kit, so I mixed 4 gallons of E85 in a full tank. Thanks!

Trims are higher than normal, I'd guess it's more than an E30 mix based on the trims. But AFR is stable so I don't think its an issue.
