  • 2022 Kia Stinger GT2 Log Check

Hello, new to the jb4 world, recently installed and got map 2 running with 91 octane and would love to see if everything looks good.

It OK, some timing deviations but that's expected with 91 Oct and Map2, you're definitely maxed out. I would do two things. Update your firmware, it's a bit dated at v24, and take off the DWP setting, put it
back to 0. (DWP 0 is just a personal preference for me)

Thank you! Would you say it's safe to run? Already updated it, should I do another log with dwp at 0 and the updated firmware or am I good to go?

It's safe, If you have access to E-85, a few gallons would clean that right up and possibly let you go Map3. But for now I'd say GTG. BTW, did you do plugs? If not, those stock ones won't last with Map2, and a nice set like the HKS's would clean that up a tad also.

Thanks, how many gallons of E85 and 91 should I put to run map 2 and map 3? And yes, I have hks plugs installed and gapped at .022.

Plugs are good then, 4 gallons to a full tank should put you right at about E27-E30 depending on whether it's a winter blend or not. But, too much is a bad thing! Get a few gallons in and send another log when able. The BMS flex kit is one of the best upgrades you can do to your JB if you're interested in taking the E content seriously. Then of course the CPI kit is there if you wanted to go really fast. LOL

Sweet, thanks! Will probably try E30 sometime next week and post a log to get some feedback. If I get addicted to E30 I'll probably get the kit. Trying to keep the car reliable though, plan on keeping it for years.
