  • Lozic ECU and JB4 Map 6 log review

So I installed Lozic ECU tune and running jb4 on map 6 with bits 0 and bits 6 enabled. I lowered my FF to 40 which helped the overboosting issue (was getting up to 24psi). However my ign2-ign6 is getting up 9. Was wondering why it’s getting so high when normally when I was running just the jb4 it was only around 3-3.5 I’m running 93 octane. Attached is my log, if you could help. Thanks

Looks like you are going to need some better fuel. Try putting in a couple gallons of E85 to start, or moving up to a higher octane fuel.

The tune is suppose to be for 93 octane but I will try E30 and see how it goes. So you’re saying it’s the fuel that is affecting the ign2-ign6?

Timing corrections are pretty bad. I'd update to v28 JB4 firmware and use map6 to subtract boost using a profile like this.

Okay I will update the firmware and try it. So under the map 6 boost values, that subtracts boost?

Yeah that’s what I’m leaning towards.
