Hello everyone, first post here so i am not sure if this is the right place for it. I drive a 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD with 68,xxx miles. Currently have installed Injen Intakes, Borla *** back exhaust, jb4, w1 catch cans, HKS plugs gapped to .022. New to the platform and the vehicle was stock when purchased. Ran on map 2 for a good bit and decided to try e30 on map 3 and map 4 of the JB4(Did 4 gallons e85, the rest 93 octane). Since being on e30 the car runs great but I believe I am having an issue at higher RPM. I do not have the fuel wires installed currently, was not sure what they were at time of install, will be doing that soon after I purchase the pigtails. Under acceleration at higher RPM the car will what feels like stutter then start building 0 pounds of boost, As soon as you let off and get back into it the issue is gone till the next gear higher RPM. Feels like an over boost issue but i am not 100% sure, was told to see if my jb4 is resetting to map 0 each time it happens and it does appear to default to map 0 each time issue happens. Looking for advice on things to check or look out for. Is it worth posting data logs without the fuel wires installed for the JB4? Also where would be best place to post data logs and will the JB4 need to be set up on what to log like the Cobb accessports need? Thanks all for any future advice or help!

Took some logs today. Issue only seemed to happened on one pull, not sure if that log made it. Was trying to use the auto log feature. I am no longer running e30, probably very little e85 left in tank and last fill up from half tank was all 93. Running on map 3.

Your last log ..195431.csv doesn't download...
The rest look normal. Three recommendations and a suggestion. Install the fuel wires, get an upgraded Intercooler, and update your firmware, you are on 22 and I think 29 is out, yours is very old. My suggestion is if you want to accurately run E, I would get the fuel it kit. My guess is you had too much and the HPFP was maxed out.

Honestly if you have access to E-85, CPI is one of the best improvements you can do. It obviously comes with the sensor and there's nothing but gain by running it. It keeps your intake charge temps cooler, cost of E-85 is less, it bumps your octane up to roughly 95.7 (E-30), and allows a much more aggressive tune/boost.

I saw that kit on the BMS website, wasn’t all sure what it allowed me to do. Do I still mix e85 and 93 when filling my tank or how does it exactly work? Appreciate all the info, new to the platform. Definitely would rather go that route over the WMI.
