  • Sort of need a bit of guidance figuring out these data logs

    Mazda 3 2.5T 23'
    93 Octane

    Suspension
    RSB
    Strut tower Brace
    - I installed the JB4 unit yesterday and am a little bit hesitant to move forward without a clearer understanding of the logs. I am familiar with some of the basics but I don't know where I am supposed to
be in terms of performance for what I have installed thus far.
    - Also, I installed yesterday and updated the firmware to JB4_P3_Mazda_5.hex Set it to map 2 and took a drive. Did not really punch a whole lot because of not being sure on some of the parameters (basically I don't want to break my car missing something important (which 've probably already done)
    - Anyways, there's also JB4_P3_Mazda_4_T4.hex (I switched back to that this morning and started on Map 1 eventually switching over to map 2) Boost got up to 9-11 range while my target boost sat around 2.6 and at it's highest I believe in the 4-5 range. Trim and AFR looked good.

I'll upload both - the latest log is with JB4_P3_Mazda_4_T4.hex on Map 2. Yesterday's was with JB4_P3_Mazda_5.hex Map 2.

    Thank you

I will do exactly that sometime today. I am currently running on a tank of 1/2 93 octane w/ethanol and 1/2 90 octane wo/ethanol. So I have it set to map 1.

My only issue with doing a pull at 100% wide open throttle is seeing the actual boost be well over the target boost. Again, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to go and change the target boost so that it stays within 1.0 - 2.0 psi of actual boost or not.

I'll get it done today. Sorry about the duplicate post. Thank you for the help.
