  • JB4 and 2019 FACELIFT

    HI, greetings from Poland !
Just replacing my RaceChip GTS with JB4 in 2019 C43 (facelifted) which should arrive shortly.

Just wondering, if I should use 2020 firmware (since CANBUS system in FL model is completely different than in previous models) or should I stay with the regular FW ?

    Regards,
    Mati.

I'd just install it and do a log, then we'll evaluate.

      HI again,
Finaly got JBR from CarbonFiberDynamics (thanks guys!) and installed in facelifted (2019) C43. Car was equipped with RaceChip GTS before.
      Currently flashed firmware is JB4_MB_C_2020_2.

Well, power delivery is definitely smoother than in RC GTS, however VERY annoying jerks by shifting 1-2 and 2-3 are still there.
Logs are showing clearly, that throttle gets closed pretty hard, no clue why.
Car settings during test: Sport+, ESP in Sport mode (behaves same in disabled mode), fuel EU 98 (93 US), pretty hot 29deg celsius.

      Any hints ?
      Regards,
      Mati.

Have you tried increasing auto shift boost reduction to see if that helps?
