C450 JB4

I am about to install the JB4 unit to my C450.

In the instruction, it shows the purple wire and green wire are not used and should be tucked away. I would like to know should leave the plugs open or I should plug them together before I tucked them away?

I don't think it matters but I'd leave them unplugged.
