  • Log Review - short shifting w/ map2.

Hello all, my 2019 C43 wagon with a JB4 and BCM is faster, but it seems to be shifting from 1-2 at 4000rpm and 2-3 at 5000rpm on map2. Not sure what gives with that! As a result my stock tune [email protected] shifting well compared to map2 shifting badly runs [email protected] on map2. problems seem worse when brake boosting aggressively even though the launch itself is badass. TC is off.

I’ve also uploaded a datalog which is map2, then map0, then map3. Not sure if the ignition advance dropping in map 2 when full boost hits is ok. And is throttle closure ok?

Also, I’m using firmware 23…not sure if that is correct for the 2019 models.

I would really appreciate comments from Terry and the team please! Thank you! I want to get this wagon into the low 12s! Maybe 11s on E30!!!

On fault codes read them via the JB4 app.

In the logs you can see fuel pressure crashing. What is the fuel?

Ahhh next time I’ll use jb4 to view codes!

I am using petrocanada 94 octane…it’s got “up to 10% ethanol” but otherwise a pretty standard fuel. Is this a common issue terry? Does it explain the short shifting as well as the car stalling out? Thanks!

What is the correct firmware to flash in for 2019 modes with BCM? I don’t see the same name options in the app. Not 2020?
