BMS products labeled for use only in competition racing vehicles may only be used on competition racing vehicles operated exclusively on a closed course in conjunction with a sanctioned racing event, in accordance with all federal and state laws, and may never be operated on public roads/highways.
If you're looking for the general parameters to get started with WMI, you can run map 3 and enter these parameters on your WMI setup page.
If you then want to add more boost or less boost, you can adjust the additive up or down to do so.
Hi Steve and thanks for the quick response, but I have a question.
My jb4 App recommends map7 for wmi, I have read the instructions of your link but I believe that over the years the jb4 app has evolved, can it be? am I wrong?

Apologies, I forget to check this forum group.
Why are you enabling pump PWM and using the fuel biases?
Do a log on map 3 with these settings.
Hi Steve and thanks for your support! I use those settings because Terry recommended them to me, at the beginning I had a lot of problems getting it to work, I wanted a progressive nebulisation with increasing turbo pressure and it was not possible to obtain. I will try your settings on map 3 these days and log you. In the meantime, if it's possible, can you tell me the differences between map 3 and 7. Thanks again for your patience
No...that would be for Terry to explain. I'm basing everything on the setup guide. If he's doing something different for you...this thread is a mute point and shouldn't exist.

Hi Steve, as soon as I have the opportunity I try your parameters on map 3, but map 7 was not made by terry it is part of jb4. I think the guide is outdated, can you ask if there is an updated guide? Thanks again

Steve I'm noticing that the jb4 reader on the PC always indicates map 1 to see the logs, instead the two logs are 7 and 3, do you know what it could depend on?
Now that I see your log, I see what's going on now...you're running standard B58/48/38 firmware, you're not running Mini specific firmware and that is why you have more maps and map 7 is your meth map.
I don't see an issue in my PC software, not sure what you mean by that.
Here's the link to the firmware guide that also shows maps, etc.

Well my firmware is correct, map 7 wmi. Is there a guide of this firmware or can you explain me how map 7 works, I would like to know the difference between map 1,2,3. thanks again for your help
Map 7 is a meth map, it uses the WMI settings and retains the meth safeties.
Set your WMI settings to the following, you can adjust the additive up or down to adjust your boost target. You can also set min flow to whatever you want but I'd stick with 8psi or so.
The other maps aren't meth maps so they don't have the safeties but otherwise the map descriptions above should be pretty clear what the differences are.
