Morning- I had to do some work on the car (water pump, t-stat, valve cover gasket) and added a turbosmart diverter valve. In the logs, it looks like the car is building boost but the throttle appears to be closing during 3rd gear pulls. Any advice? Thanks

Looks like you've been playing with the JB4 user adjustment values. Try setting them all back to the default values and upload a log of map 5 for review.

Looks pretty good but trims are maxing out and forcing you lean down low. What flash/fuel are you running?

What are you running for fueling? I don't see PI running. You can bump your FOL up to 90 though.

Trims are lower to begin with so I'm guessing you change it after the first pull...so set it back and leave it there.
I'm guessing you have some sort of boost leak, collapsing intake pipe, or ??? WGDC is really high even when boost drops.
It could be the throttle closure as well but I also see DME_BT is dropping.I'm going to get another opinion on this but first do a good log with FOL set correctly.

Okay...thanks.
This is strange, can you do a log on map 2, we want to see if it's boost target related.

You are correct, DME_BT looks solid.

It is a 2014. Any thoughts on what's going on with map 5? It should adjust to the e85 and target boost accordingly, right? Could it be an O2 sensor or unmetered air leaking in somehow? But that would show up in all the maps, right? Just thinking out loud...'14 435xi - FMIC- BMS intake - JB4 + FF + WG plug - MHD, Dorch stg1 HPFP, PR Coils

Fresh log on map 5 for me to review?
Also, if you continue to have intermittent issues, double check that your OBDII cable doesn't have stretched pins.

Good morning! Confirmed the pins are not deformed on the obdii connector. Did several pulls and everything felt fine until it started to target higher boost numbers. Last pull, cylinder 5 and 6 shut down for misfires. Thinking spark plug or coil pack maybe?

I added enough gasoline to get about e50 and the HPFP numbers look much better. It's still dipping in 3rd gear pulls but what strange is if I start in 2nd and go into 3rd, it doesn't seem to have any issue.Attached Files'14 435xi - FMIC- BMS intake - JB4 + FF + WG plug - MHD, Dorch stg1 HPFP, PR Coils

Correct, as long as it stays above 10 or so, it's generally okay.

There seems to be two types of logs you're getting. One shows no issue with throttle...the other is big adjustments. Not sure what the difference is between the two but if may very well be DSC. Make sure traction control is off but you don't have to completely shut if off.

Yes, it is very odd. The issue only seems to occur with Map 5 when targeting higher boost and only when starting WOT in 3rd. If I start in 2nd and pull through 3rd, it seems to have no issues. In map 2 and map 7 it seemed to run fine regardless. I tested the car in Sport + and in Sport + and pushing the DSC button, with the same result. 3rd gear it stops building boost at about 3500 RPM, start in 2nd- it is strong through the entire RPM range. I didn't make new logs since it's been the same but will if you need it.

Ultimately the DME is pulling boost and I'm not sure why if you have traction control off. You would have to work with Terry on it.
