  • X3 35i JB4 log rough cold start up

Started having rough idle at cold start but seems to run well otherwise. Recently had valve cover gasket and radiator done. Noticed it is low 1 quart of oil after a 12 hour road trip. Was planning on changing spark plugs but hadn’t gotten to it. Fuel was 93 octane but had to fill with 91 during road trip.

2013 X3 35i with VRSF catted DP, K&N drop in, JB4, VRSF charge pipe, new OE coil pack cylinder 1, dinan coil packs cylinder 2-4, original coil packs cylinder 5-6.

That can be an intake leak...I'd check that. Your trims are high as well, so it may very well be the case.

Is it normal to have a value of 1 to 3 for the high pressure fuel pump and zero for the low pressure fuel pump? Is that because it is a pneumatic waste gate N55? By intake do you mean intake manifold or intake? Probably stupid questions but I appreciate your help!

There is no LPFP sensor on the N55. For the HPFP, that's a bit odd but I don't believe it is accurate, that is way to low and the car wouldn't run under those conditions. I'm not sure if it's a data collection error or bad sensor. It could be either but it's typically the intake.
