Anyone know how to fix this? App is set to combine logs but I guess it’s not

The group logs setting is on the logs tab. For support purposes always have grouped selected.

Through the app it’s available. Don’t remember if the BC button works, that would depend on the vehicle platform. Not that it really matters, they over muffled the cars anyway. Even with the flaps open they’re too quiet.

You have to change one of the gauges to it, last time I checked. I just got my car back from the dealer and don’t have the JB4 installed, so I can’t confirm right now.

Edit: Hang on. Just got the newest BETA version.
CANFlap is being moved the the Advanced section.

I'm not running beta and was able to add it to the gauges screen but toggling it doesn't seem to change behavior.

Should this work equally well on laptop vs phone? I'm using my android app. Pic attached.

Also noticing that the reported "mode" (ie the number value) never changes from the zero reading you see in my screenshot. Seems like CANflap control isn't working on my car.

Are we talking about the M5? Cause that’s not an N63, that’s an S63, which uses different firmware.

No. It worked fine on my 2021. Not that it was super obvious. The M550 is very quiet even with the valves open.

Ah, got it.

Car is at the dealership for a few mods. Having them check out the wiring for the valves in case they are not working correctly.

So I installed a CG Precision valve controller, and was able to note a significant difference in sound when open vs. closed. I can now confirm that the JB4 is not effectively controlling the CANflap in any mode. I don't know if something changed in the DME from 2021 to 2022MY but the observation stands.

Sorry, missed this.

Log looks normal though. A few minor timing corrections so I'd probably stick with map 1 or 2 on this fuel.

Steve,You think it’s ok to leave on map 2 or go down to map 1 This is with NGK 97506 plugs which I can’t confirm are even correct for 2020

Map 2 has more timing corrections so I'd probably daily on map 1 and save map 2 for better fuel or occasional use.

Hey there, was wondering if there's a guide that shows how to get to the EWGs, it seems almost impossible to get in there, at least on the left EWG. Right one is ok when you disconnect the intercooler hose. Any ideas? Also how do I get a couple of new EWG connectors? Both male and female... I purchased a new harness from Terry when I got the M850 3 years ago, but it turned out that the EWG connectors were not the right ones at the time and I didn't pursue any further. Your response and help is much appreciated! I've now been on the JB4 platform for over 10 years and have always appreciated your support! Cheers

Current car is a 22 G12 750, I moved the JB4 from the M850 to the 750 but would really like to get EWG to work! Happy Independence Day!

For the EWG connectors, I'd reach back out to Terry on those.

Sorry, I don't have any input on installing those, maybe someone else that has done them will jump in.
