Looks like AFR is high, how should I set this up? I have a BMS intake and that is all

Not looking to do ethanol but whatever max I can safely do on 93 fuel
Map 0 log looks good, please upload a map 1 log.

        • Mine is a 2022 WRX GT. I plugged in the MAP, MAF, and the fuel sensor, and then started my car, but the start of the engine was not smooth at all. Following that, the functions of the car were disabled (RAB, Eyesight, etc), even the adaptive suspension. The picture described it all. We then unplugged everything. It made the ignition better, but still, all the functions were disabled. Can the professionals let me know how to resolve it, and whether I got a faulty product? It took basically the entire day for me and my buddy to figure it out, but when we finally made it, the car was disabled, which could be frustrating. Thank you!

          • VBFlyBy Hey Brother your map is not safe RPM, Boost Throttle, AFR 4500-5700 is crazy lean how about you try tapering the boost 4500 6.5 psi, 5000 6 psi, 5500 5.5 psi 6000 5 psi I wouldn't push it past 12.5 range

            • IvanTheGrinder I had this happen to a subscriber try unplugging your battery for 60 seconds and then plugging it back in see if that helps. If not reach out to [email protected]

              • After a night, the system went back to normal. It was definitely like a roller coaster, and I hope the team can help me figure out whether it's a product defect or some other thing.

                  • I am worried if the entire system is going to be disabled again after plugging in dylanvbwrx waiting for the message from Cannon and Terry see what’s the issue first. But thanks for your help buddy.

                    • Some updates: After unplugging and reinstalling everything (only the MAP sensor for now) again, it works. All functions are good, and the displays on the app are pretty responsive. Will take it for the ride and get at least two other sensors plugged in. Can anyone tell me which sensor would be helpful with an aftermarket intake? Thanks!

                          • I ended up successfully plugging in all 3 sensors on the top, and they ran ok. Did full throttle last night, and here is the log. Would you guys offer some opinions?

                              • Yessir dylanvbwrx Just found your youtube channel, super helpful! Since I am driving a CVT I won't go crazy on her, but still hope to maximize the potential and have fun sometime. Any idea what is my horsepower right now from reading the log? And should I keep on map 2 after switching FOL to 30, or I should go map6?

Also, any tips for reading the logs myself?

                                Thank you so much!

                                    • Hello !!!
                                      I have a WRX 6MT 2023, I put some mods on it:
                                      -ETS catback exhaust system
                                      -ETS catted J pipe (downpip*)
                                      -ETS intake (with air filter)
                                      -ETS top mount charge pipe
                                      -ETS top mount intercooler
                                      -Radium dual catch can kit
                                      -GFB Diverter Valve

I will receive the JB4 on tuesday, but I want to know wich map should I run. In my area is just available 91 octane fuel, so I understand should be map 1. But, with the ETS downpip* will work OK on stage 1?? all the other mods I am not worry at all, just the catted J pipe. What can you recommend me? JB4 should deal good in stage 1 with the extra flow downpip* will make? How can I deal with the lights on the dashboard? just turn on after j pipe installation.
Thanks ahead, any advice will be highly apreciatte.
                                      Excellent day!!

Just updating!! Burger motorsport team already respond all my doubts by email😎.

I must run for sure with 91 octane gas and the j pipe, map 1 and should be no problems at all. They recommend me to take a full throttle data log and send to them, just to be sure everything is OK.

Thanks to the Burger team 👍🏻👍🏻

Was just about ready to return the device until I saw this post. I also have a 2022 WRX GT and am experiencing the exact same behavior. I had first tried plugging everything in and had these issues. At first it showed codes P0107 and P0098 along with all functions disabled same as above. I attempted reinstall, put keys 30+ft away for 20 minutes and plugged in only the MAF and MAP plugs. Same behavior. Tried both locking it up and moving keys away for 20+ minutes and disconnected the battery for 5 minutes after installing. Still getting the same warnings on the dash as above. I did delete the codes and reading codes now produces nothing. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Restart your car after the night to see if things go back to normal. Then, make sure your blue tooth chip (if you have one) does not touch any metal in the car or the device itself, and start with MAP and MAF.

Removing the JB4 and disconnecting the battery for a bit did return to stock however. I have been in touch with Terry and I believe they are sending out a new board and harness to try and resolve the issue.

The engine is running great now and no error codes on the default map 1. Need to button up the install and want to hook up the EWS plug but so far looks like it was just a defective unit!

Guarantee 100 fuel bias map 2 is faster than your current map 6. You can make map 6 faster, but it needs to be set up properly,

I notice when i go 100 on the pedal the throttle won’t stay at 100%. It will be at around 85 throttle then jump back up to 100 even though i’m all the way down on the pedal the whole time. The car feels great and everything else seems great. Just any help on this would be great. As well as setting up a custom tune. Here is the log dylanvbwrx Terry @ BMS

I still think I'll dial in on map6 for a bit, tossing around doing E85 so learning this will definitely help when that time comes around. Thanks!

I have a carlinkit AI box installed in my car and thought I would give a shot installing the JB4 app on it. Works great! Tuning, logging, and monitoring straight from the convenience of the infotainment system! Really expensive accessory for the JB4 but I also wanted it for full screen android and other features in the car so I would have gotten it anyway. No connection issues or lag that I can see.
