Juangonzalezz29 it’s not gonna work by just plugging it in to the car. You need the blue tooth or either the bms data cable. Then you gotta follow the installation link on the first page.

Hello all,
New member here. Spent the last few hours reading through this thread from beginning to now so I can be a little more familiar with the Group 8 and to hopefully avoid asking redundant questions. Just recently bought and installed a second hand unit for my 2018 Passat sel. Noticed considerable improvements in power. Haven’t bought the wireless option as of yet so I’m assuming I’m running a map 1? I’m I really just getting 1 psi increase with map 1 cause if it is I’m impresssed and more curious if the maps. Also, what map would you recommend for my Passat? Currently the Passat is bone stock except for a k&n panel filter and the JB. Would the wireless option to access additional maps be an overkill? Would I need the wireless option to access the additional maps? Any thoughts//opinions are appreciated. Thanks all.

Anyone ever get check engine light after installing on the passat?
I have done all the troubleshooting and even sent the unit back and no issues found, Drove the car for a year without it installed and have never had a check engine light
If I plug in the jb4 and select any map and drive then next time I start the car I have check engine light
Have to use vagcom to clear it the app wont
Vag come dtc codes p0106 Manifold/Barometric pressure sensor implausible signal
I have triple-checked the plug and even sent the unit back and no issues found. Anyone know how to resolve this? I want to enjoy the Mountains this time when I go but dont need engine issues
