    JB4 No AFR/ Temp IAT Canbus Data VW Golf 1.4T Mk7.5 2018 Aus

    Hi Crew,

    Got a problem with the new JB4 I installed yesterday. Unfortunately I have no canbus data showing for the AFR or Temp IAT gauges or in the logs. The guages and logs do show readings for RPM, Boost, Ign and Map however. This concerns me as it means the JB4 likely isnt seeing critical data it needs to adjust. Can anyone shed some light on a possible cause or solution here?

    All connections have been unplugged and replugged. Car restarted etc but no difference.

    Would going to a VW dealer to check if the OBD/ Canbus requires a firmware update help ?

      Generally OBDII backwards, loose, or damaged.

        Thanks Terry, orientation is confirmed correct. Are there any specific pins on the OBD plug I can use to test continuity through the cable to the Jb4 plug ?

            Hello.
            I have installed JB4 Mobile and also saw that there were no parameters on the screen...

            Car - VW Tiguan 1.4 TSI, 2019
            Firmware - 66/3//5
            Interface - JB4 Android A356
            Phone - Pixel3
            OS - Android 12
            Connection type - OTG

            Car the car is under warranty, no problems with OBDII.

              where these issues ever fixed? my 2012 Gli has most readings but NO IAT or Ign and 3 or 4 other things.

                GLi is different. Some of the parameters are left out as it reduces the data transfer rate too much for logging and mapping purposes.
