  • Need Help SQ5 B9

    Hello,

Need a little help with seeing if MAP 3 is right for me. I’m running 93 octane and have the ability of getting some E85.

Currently bone stock and will be getting an IE intake in the mail on Monday.

I might be reading this wrong and I also probably did a log wrong. Is this log looking right? I thought target should be near boost +/- 1.

Also how should I properly get a log?

    Any help is appreciated.

Map 3 is good for 93. On a 4 to 5 gal mix you can run map 4.

Target is the amount of psi the JB4 adds over the ECU request.

With that same mix could I run Map 5?

Yes, increase the fuel open loop in user adjustments to 100 though.

Should I increase the fuel open loop on map 4 as well?

In Map 4 its not really needed but will help with the fueling.

I’m getting code P0B15 fuel pressure too high. Is this related to the open loop?

Drop the FOL by 10 and see if it persists.

It came with more issues. I used about half tank of 4.7gallons of e85 and rest 93 octane, tank is about 18.5 gallons. Everything was great on 100 fuel loop. Until this morning, when I was on 45 minute drive. Cruise control at 60 I could feel some misfire or jerks. Then when I got to my destination I got 3500 rpm limit on dash and car stalled. During this time(when I felt the misfires/jerks on cruise) I couldn’t connect to the jb4(Bluetooth).

I kept clearing the codes and switching maps but I still kept getting the high pressure code until I dropped the fuel loop to 60 then I got a low fuel pressure code and it would stall. I also got a lost connection to fuel pressure sensor code.

Could this be cause the e85 didn’t mix well?

I removed the jb4 and the car is running well. I want to add it back is there a way to revert to factory settings from the Bluetooth app?

Also, my fuel pressure sensor connector from jb4 to engine. Has a broken tab could this create the issue? It is securely fastened to the sensor though?

I dropped the FOL to 90 and 70 and now I’m getting a P767C code. Everything is hooked up though? Fuel pressure sensor is hooked up.

The broken tab is the issue. The signal from the plug is digital and not voltage so its sensitive to that. Best to email me at [email protected] so we can get you up to speed.
