I'm new to the forum and completely new to the JB4 world. I purchased a used but in excellent condition JB4 a couple days ago and have it installed on my 2017 Golf R already running map 1. The previous owner only had it installed on his car for a couple months.
Map 1 is pretty great so far but I would love to create a custome map 6 for it.
I'm located out of Denver at around 5,280ft I do travel up to the mountains often so my elevation will vary from 5,280 - 9,000.
My overall goal is to basically get this car dialed in close to a typical "Stage 1" ecu flash.
regarding fuel, 91 octane is whats available out here. I do have access to E85.
the only mods I have on my car is a modified stock intake with a drop in filter, IE turbo inlet pipe, and a resonator delete.
If anyone can help me create a map 6 from start to finish, I would greatly appreciate it!
