Default Cutting off spring - 04-09-2018, 08:35 AM

If I wanted to speed up the lowering process for the front only and didn't plan to save/sell the factory springs, could I just cut the stock springs while on the strut to release the compression to remove the strut hat+bolts? I have my spring compressor to reinstall the H+R's later but to shave a few seconds off the removal time, is this a possibility? Thanks.

P.S. We only get one sunny day this week and I'm strapped for time to get it in and out of the garage before the rains come back.

Yes, you can the factory spring with a grinder but it may not save that much time.
