Default Another M3 Control Arm Upgrade Question - 07-26-2018, 07:48 AM

While there are many threads on M3 control arm upgrades on 335i's and such, I tried and couldn't find an answer for this.

Why spend $350 or so buying arms for, say, the front suspension when you can purchase M3 bushings for $20 each, install them, and install camber plates to create the negative camber benefits that the M3 arms bring (plus adjustability)? Aren't the M3 bushings and the standard E90 bushings dimensionally the same or not? Or are the kits simply a matter of convenience?

Thanks everyone!

I have just replaced front M3 arms on 335iA coupe 06 (160k miles) and it has transformed the whole car... before I had felt the weight and the car was kind of reluctant to dive into curve but now it really feels like spirited driving as it should be...
just do it :-)
