EcoBoost Mustang JB4 Dyno Testing! -

Was able to get our hands on a EcoBoost 4-banger Mustang for some dyno testing and was pleasantly surprised with the results.
Baseline and map1 were run on 91 octane, and then later we added in a couple gallons of E85 to get up to an E30 mix to better simulate good fuel. Peak power gains with the JB4 were ~30whp & ~40wtq on 91, and ~60whp & 100wtq on E30. In some areas under the curve delta was much higher.  On the road performance is dramatically improved, you can really feel the extra torque. And the installation is a relatively simple 10 minute job you can put on or take off easily. We're moving the system in to production and will let everyone know when we have some early units for alpha testers. This car is so fast after the JB4, night and day difference. That torque is just insane!

Hi, I have install my JB4 today and WOW !!
I have only run the map 1 for now and it’s night and day ! Tomorrow I will install the obd2 cable and make some log to see if all is ok but for now I can’t believe how the base map 1 make power. Next week I will go on the dyno an make some testing. My car is a brand new Mustang Ecoboost with the Performance package. JB4 installed today at 3000 km so we will see how it perform with my futur mod. Next week I will install a new intercooler and filter + colder plug.

Is there any difference between the tune firmware for the ecoboost with stock 310 hp, and the ecoboost with the 332 hp stock (the hpp that came out in 2020). Currently I have a 2020 ecoboost hpp, and I'm using the Maserati ghibli beta tune. Also running e30. Is that the correct tune for me?
Having a hard time determining if there is or isn't a difference between the tuning on the 2 different ecoboost mustangs. Ias a reference i know the Cobb Tuners differentiates between the 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I recently added Mustang specific firmware under platform 88. Load it up and log map2, lets check it out.

88 firmware map 2 e30 3rd gear full throttle logs -

Hi Terry,
I updated the firmware to the 88 mustang ecoboost, and I selected map 2 - 93/e30. I am using e30 now and I did a couple 3rd gear full throttle logs. The JB4 looks like it combined both runs on the same log. It felt pretty good. Let me know what you think of the logs.
