I've been reviewing my data logs as I'm feeling a dramatic surge under acceleration on MAP2, 98octane, newly installed high flow Active Autowerks catted ******** and cold IATs in an 2022 M240i G42 B58 Xdrive.
After reviewing the logs I have a situation where the Throttle closes rapidly and dramatically (from 100 to 27 - it is at 100% at 3,772RPM, 27% at 3,557RPM then back to 100% at 4,256RPM all in under 2seconds) and causing a surge in acceleration in the car. At the same time the ignition across all three cylinders is dropping from an average of 9 to 1. Boost also drops accordingly from averaging 9 to 5 (50% cut) - but all of this only occurring at that singular timestamp at 3,857RPM.
"40% or more throttle closure normally indicates that boost control adjustment is needed." - I'm seeing a throttle reduction of ~80% and IGN timing reduction of ~70% but only for that split second at 3,857RPM.

I assume this indicates a momentary detonation control situation? Or could it be some sort of boost spike caused by a leak? Or simply traction control intervention (it doesn't feel like TC and I haven't observed the TC light coming on).
The car is definitely dipping in power momentarily and then surging back onto power, the acceleration is not linear in this scenario and feels problematic.
