Default 2018 Kia Stinger GT (3.3tt) - JB4 Log Review Request - 05-30-2022, 07:03 PM

Hello, requesting a log review. I'm new to the whole tuning and logging thing, So I would greatly appreciate a quick interpretation of my logs to see how they look. Please see attached. Thanks!

These were done on Map1, 92 octane, 83 degree Fahrenheit ambient temp. Mods are BMS Intakes, Megan Racing Catback, and HKS m45il plugs gapped to .022.

Log looks normal but timing deviations were a little high. I think it's because of two things.
1. Running 92 tells me you're in Canada? Your 92 I believe is like our 87-88. (I could be wrong)
2. You went into both pulls with inlet temperatures over 100f sustained
Either way I think you need to stay with Map1 unless you can find some E85 to mix in there, or a splash of Octane boost.

Thank you for looking into these!
1. I'm in the US. The last station I filled up at had 92. This is before I did my plugs and JB4, going to only use 93 from here on out once I finish this tank. I'll post some more logs once I'm on 93.
2. It was definitely a hot day and the car was running for quite awhile in moderate traffic before doing these pulls, so it was probably heatsoaked a decent amount. Again, I'll probably re-post some logs with a warmed up, but not heatsoaked engine and with 93 octane.

I dont plan on doing anything crazy with this car, im probably going to run map 1 the vast majority of the time, but it would be nice to have the ability to safely run map2 from time to time.

Thanks again!!

Hi I see you on a lot of other log reading posts, Terry checked mine out too and said it looks normal for pump, but can you also take a look at mine too? I wanna get a 2nd opinion too.

My post has things listed to what I've done to the car, wondering if you would be able to clarify things for me too, I'm trying to take my car from WI down to Arkansas on the 30th next week and need to know asap. Sorry for being a bother I'm new to this!
